Are concertina ladders safe to use?
All of the products offered by Premier Loft Ladders are designed with safety as a primary consideration. With the exception of the Piccolo, they all feature a counter-balanced spring mechanism, which makes them very easy to operate and prevents the ladder from falling down under its own weight. Furthermore, they have been assembled with high-quality components to ensure rigidity during use and lasting durability.
Another safety benefit is the ability to fit much bigger treads than can be achieved with a traditional folding wooden ladder. Therefore providing a better and more stable footing when climbing the ladder.
As a result, our range of concertina ladders are suitable for some of the most challenging situations – from very high ceilings to vertical apertures. Furthermore, the heavy-duty ‘Supreme’ and ‘Elite’ product families are also ideally suited for use in commercial and industrial situations.
