Skylark electric concertina attic stairs feature a steel loft ladder with electric motor operation. With the press of a button, the Skylark stairs open and extend. As a result, there is no manual effort needed. The electric concertina attic stairs come with one infrared remote control handset, one hardwired switch in the attic and one hardwired switch on the lid.
The powder coated steel ladder is attached to and contained within a sealed and highly insulated hatch (U-value of 0.71 W/m2K).

The Skylark electric concertina attic stairs can be fitted with an optional battery back-up in case of power shortage. This allows the Skylark to be operated 15 to 20 times on battery power alone. Battery recharges automatically once power has been restored.

Skylark electric folding attic stairs are made-to-order in a range of standard sizes. Please take note of the min. and max. dimensions as shown below. Frame widths increase at 50mm increments.
