Company overview

Wippro GmbH have been making high-quality attic ladders in Austria for more than 60 years. The main focus of the family run business is upon achieving ‘Maximum comfort, optimum use of space and the highest safety standards’. As such, Wippro attic ladders offer very high levels of thermal insulation and energy efficiency. Also, fire protection is standard on most models.

Furthermore, attention to detail is apparent in all of Wippro’s products. Examples of this include the ball-bearing closing mechanism, thermal separation of the hatch box and hollow-chamber seals that offer a (class 4 certified) airtight seal. In addition, Wippro attic ladders have large treads with anti-slip profiles.

Product range

Wippro are best known for their steel folding attic ladders. These high strength and heavy duty ladders are finished in a durable white powder coat or galvanized (on special request). Each ladder is pre-fitted within an insulated hatch box. A wide range of hatch box specifications are available, from the Passivhaus certified Klimatec 160, to the Isotec and Isotec Electric with 120 minute fire protection.
