New for 2026 – Loft Ladder News
There is increased optimism for UK construction industry growth during 2026. We believe that this will also result in greater demand for loft and roof access ladders, particularly for use in the many new homes, schools and offices that are expected to be built over the next few years.
To support our customer’s growth in 2026, Premier Loft Ladders will be expanding the timber loft ladder line-up, as well as introducing a number of accessories for improving safe access to a loft or flat roof.
New Loft Ladders for 2026…
Throughout 2025, we launched a number of new loft ladders and product enhancements. This included the LET electric scissor loft ladder, a new flat roof access hatch and an enhancement to the flat roof access hatch with wooden ladder.
As we enter 2026, Premier Loft Ladders has already added a new entry-level timber loft ladder to its product range – the LWK Komfort. The LWK Komfort provides a compact solution for narrow ceiling openings (from 550mm wide) at a budget-friendly price.
Furthermore, we plan to offer another wooden loft ladder that offers safety and usability benefits. Stay-tuned for further news on this and other product updates by following us on social media (links at the bottom of this page).

Updated Fire Certifications…
The final stage of fire certification updates has now been completed for the ProfiLine and MiniLine fire resistant loft ladders. The ProfiLine features a folding wooden loft ladder, while the MiniLine has a compact aluminium retractable ladder. Both feature the same insulated and airtight hatch box, which has now finished re-testing against the latest fire standards. The final stage was a 30-minute test for fire-resistance from above and below (EI230 Plus) to EN 1634-1, in accordance with EN 13501-2:2023 by IBS Linz.

CPD for Architects…
Last year we launched of our brand new CPD seminar. This is designed to help architects understand how to choose and specify the most suitable loft ladder for their project. It was well received by architects and designers, so we are delighted to announce that we will continue the CPD programme in 2026.
