Made-to-Measure Loft Ladders
Almost all of our loft ladders are available in made-to-measure sizes. Therefore you get a loft ladder that fits your exact requirements. As a result, you can save time, money and effort by avoiding the need to alter your ceiling openings. In addition, the perfect fit that is achieved with a made-to-measure loft hatch provides a high-quality finish and can help keep in the warmth. This is especially true when the ladder is fitted an airtight sealing kit for the joint between the loft hatch and ceiling, such as the patented WDL insulation and sealing tape. The result is an improvement in energy efficiency and reduced heating costs.

Space-Saving Loft Ladders
Perhaps you have an existing loft hatch that you would like to keep? If so, there are a range of options available, including retractable aluminium ladders that are designed for easy installation above an existing trapdoor. The main benefit of these are that they can fit into very small ceiling openings. This is due to their space-saving concertina mechanism, as pictured here. Also, they minimise intrusion into the loft space above.

Considering a renovation project?
Why not visit the National Self Build and Renovation Centre (NSBRC)? The centre is open Tuesday – Sunday from 10am to 5.30pm and can be found in Swindon, just off junction 16 of the M4. The NSBRC is the UK’s only permanent exhibition centre for self build, renovation and home improvements. Also, it has 3 full size exhibition houses on display, as well as educational areas and a full-scale renovation house.
During your visit to the NSBRC, our space saving Elite Concertina loft ladder can be seen in the Roof Zone of the ‘Educational Journey’. The Elite is easy to install and can fit within small ceiling openings. In addition, it can be fitted above an existing ceiling hatch or paired with one of our highly insulated wooden hatches.
